Why get involved with #WBC4NCD?

As there was not an established Children's Day in the UK, The Save Childhood Movement decided to create one. So the second Sunday in May became National Children's Day UK (NCDUK), a day of celebrating the rights of children to ensure they have the ability to develop naturally and happily to their full potential. NCDUK works to improve children’s health and wellbeing. By getting involved you will increase awareness of this vital day and help towards NCDUK in meeting their aims and ensure all children can grow to their full potential.

How you can get involved

Here at Weekend Box Club we have designed a fun competition to get you involved. All you need to do is get outside with your children and complete the activity for the competition.

  1. Download the activity instructions HERE
  2. Head outside and create a photo frame using sticks and twigs; decorating it with flowers, leaves and fill it with a photo of your children doing their favourite outside activity.
  3. Take a photo of your child holding their finished photo frame and upload it to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hash tag #WBC4NCD and you will be entered into the competition.
Unfortunately this competition is now closed but you're welcome to still download the activity to enjoy with your family!
