First Wonder Box have taken over Weekend Box Club and will be providing subscriptions going forward. We’ve worked really hard with the Weekend Box Club team to make sure subscribers don’t experience any disruption to their service. Hopefully these FAQ will help answer any queries you may have...

Will I still get a Weekend Club Box?

No, as of Wednesday 19th June Weekend Club Boxes are no longer available. Instead, subscriptions will be powered by First Wonder Box


What is a First Wonder Box?

Just like Weekend Box Club, First Wonder Boxes are subscription boxes for children, delivered straight to your door. On a different theme every time, they come with everything you need to get started. Every First Wonder Box contains an activity book, toy, stickers, craft with all materials and collectable cards. Plus the box itself turns into a game, craft or activity.


Where is First Wonder Box located?

Our HQ is in London, just near London Bridge.


What boxes will I get from you?

Your first box will be Bugs themed and we have 40 collectable boxes covering a great array of themes such as Dinosaurs, Science, Cities, Animal Babies, Solar System and lots more. Check out all of our themes here: www.firstwonderbox.co.uk/themes

How do I cancel?

If you no longer wish to continue receiving boxes you can simply sign in to your existing Weekend Box Club account, via the Club House, and cancel your subscription there.

The Weekend Box Club website will still be up and running but is now owned by First Group Enterprises Ltd (owners of First Wonder Box).


How do I pause?

To pause your subscription, simply log in to your existing account via the Weekend Box Club House.


How do I change my frequency?

To change the frequency of the boxes that you receive, simply log in to your existing account via the Weekend Box Club House.

When will you take payment?

First Wonder Box payments run every other Tuesday. Please log in to your existing account here to see when your next payment will be taken.


Why does it say Weekend/Wonder Box on my bank statement?

We want to make it as clear as possible for you to recognise the charge on your bank statement.


What is First News?

First News is a children’s newspaper aimed at 7 to 14-year-olds. It’s been owned by First Group Enterprises Ltd since it launched in 2005. It’s available via subscription to homes and schools and from supermarkets and newsagents around the UK. It’s the big sibling of First Wonder Box and has more than 2 million readers every week!


What happens to my Weekend Box Club House points?

Unfortunately, as Weekend Box Club doesn’t exist anymore, these points are no longer valid.


How will sibling boxes work?

Sibling boxes are charged at £4.49 per box and will be the same as the main box (to stop sibling squabbles!). All boxes will be dispatched at the same time.

How can I get in touch with someone at First Wonder Box?

The best way to contact First Wonder Box is via email: weekendbox@firstwonderbox.co.uk and we’ll do our best to reply as quickly as we can.


How will you use my contact details?

We will contact you to advise that First Group Enterprises (owners of First Wonder Box) now own the data. Please see our privacy policy.


How did you get my bank card details?

All bank card details are safely stored with a third party called Stripe. When you signed up to Weekend Club Box you will have had your payment details stored in Stripe. When First Wonder Box took over, we took ownership of the Stripe account. Please be reassured that Stripe is PCI compliant and no payment details are visible by anyone from First Group Enterprises Ltd.


I was a Weekend Box Club subscriber but cancelled my subscription. How do I re-subscribe?

As Weekend Box Club no longer exists, you’ll need to sign up for a new account with First Wonder Box. Please visit www.firstwonderbox.co.uk – we really hope to welcome you to the First Wonder Box family soon.


How do I update my details?

Please log in to your Weekend Club Box account and you should be able to make any changes to your account. Any problems, please drop us an email at weekendbox@firstwonderbox.co.uk


When will my next box arrive?

First Wonder Boxes are dispatched every second Thursday (via Royal Mail second class). Please log in to your account to see when your next box is due to be dispatched.


A payment has been taken and I haven’t received a box.

We’re sorry to hear that. Please drop us an email at weekendbox@firstwonderbox.co.uk and we’ll do our best to sort it out for you.


Why is there a delay between payment being taken and my box arriving?

We are so sorry if you encounter a delay, we are trying our absolute best to minimise disruption to Weekend Club Box subscribers. As part of our continuation of service agreement with Weekend Box Club we need to migrate customers onto the same payment and dispatch schedules as our First Wonder Box customers. This may initially result in a slight change to your payment and/or dispatch date.

Please be reassured we will continue to supply boxes as per your frequency settings, and any delay you experience to start with will only be temporary.
